Wanloo respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why, in line with Canada’s PIPEDA and Quebec’s Law 25.

What we collect

Pet & comparison details you enter: species, breed, date of birth, postal code, and the options you save.
Contact: your email (e.g. to unlock results, send a magic sign-in link, or monitor updates).
Location: only if you tap “Near me,” your approximate coordinates power the local map — handled in your browser and not stored beyond your session preference.
Usage: basic, privacy-respecting analytics to improve the service.

How we use it

To run the comparison and rank options for your pet, to send results and sign-in links you request, to power optional monitoring/alerts you opt into, and to improve Wanloo. We do not sell your personal information.

When we share

We share your information with a provider only when you choose to proceed with them (a referral), so they can process your application. We also use trusted service providers (email delivery, maps, AI assistant) strictly to operate Wanloo.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies: an authenticated session, a per-browser key to keep your pet/saves before you sign in, your language, and a lead marker so we don’t re-ask for your email. No third-party advertising cookies.
